The Fellowship

The Kenneth Kaunda Leadership Fellowship (KKLF) is a transformative platform designed to nurture leadership potential in youths aged 25-35 who show passion and promise in Public Health, Business & Entrepreneurship, and Politics & Governance.

Fellowship Objectives

  • Develop Advanced Leadership Competencies: Cultivate skills in strategic planning, critical decision-making, and ethical leadership.
  • Encourage Cross-Sectoral Innovation: Facilitate exchange of ideas across public health, business, and governance.
  • Build Mentorship Networks: Connect fellows with seasoned practitioners and industry experts.
  • Drive Community Impact: Empower fellows to implement projects addressing local challenges.
  • Promote Lifelong Learning: Establish robust alumni networks for continued collaboration.

Orientation and Induction

Inspiring launch event introducing program vision, values, and structure.

Public Health Leadership

Health systems management, crisis response, and community health promotion.

Business and Entrepreneurship

Business strategy, innovation management, and social entrepreneurship.

Politics and Governance

Policy analysis, public administration, civic engagement, and ethical governance.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Ages 25-35 as of September 10, 2025
  • Zambian citizens or permanent residents
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma
  • Demonstrated passion for chosen field
  • Commitment to rigorous, multi-disciplinary training
